Which active tour in Normandy suits me if I don’t cycle much?
The e-bike gourmet tour in the Pays d'Auge is the easiest option, since the electric bikes make the hills effortless and the tour suits all levels. The Mont-Saint-Michel bike tour is also open to cyclists of all levels. If you'd rather walk, the 2-hour guided walk across the Mont-Saint-Michel bay or the D-Day walking tour along Omaha Beach are good choices.
How long are the bike and walking routes on your Normandy active tours?
The Mont-Saint-Michel ride covers 13 miles, the e-bike gourmet tour about 18 miles, and the D-Day ride to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery 28 miles, which suits fairly active riders. On foot, the D-Day walk covers 6 to 7 km, about 4 miles, and the bay walk lasts 2 hours. Guides always ride or walk at your rhythm.
Are the active tours in Normandy guided?
Yes. Every active tour is led by an expert guide who knows the area and shares its history along the way. On the bike tours, the guide looks after you all day. On the walks, the guide explains what you see, from D-Day bunkers above Omaha Beach to the tides and quicksand of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay.

It depends on the tour. The e-bike gourmet tour includes oysters, Camembert, Normandy cider and a picnic at local farms. The Mont-Saint-Michel bike tour includes a snack of local apple juice and traditional biscuits. For the other tours, ask your trip designer how meals fit into the day.

Yes. Each active tour can be adapted to your group, your fitness level and your interests. Your trip designer can adjust the pace, combine a ride or walk with other visits, or help you pick the tour that fits best if you are traveling with people who have different energy levels.
